So we love checking out the Everygirl blog, especially ever since our fav gal, Melanie Pace was featured & we helped style her home! Since their blog is all about the gals, the rooms are alway so fun and girly & we can never get enough! They recently featured the space below, belonging to Danielle Moss, Co-founder of The Everygirl Blog!! Lately, it’s all about the clean, crisp white along with pops of bright colors so even on the shittiest of days you walk into a space that screams HAPPY. You know it’s true!!

We came across this fabulous Etsy shop thanks to their featured shops section & we soo had to share! We’re loving how although super rustic, the pieces have a sleek mid-century, modern look, great for someone looking to add a touch of trendy to their home but without going overboard! Jeff Libby of Birdloft doesn’t just use any slab of wood, however. Located in Tacoma, Washington, he specifically searches out tired out wood, pieces that have survived the elements for sometimes over hundreds of years. Doing this sometimes means having “weird conversations with secretive old men” around town but finding unique pieces is an “important part of [his] process”.

While you can most likely find similar pieces via other commercial outlets, sometimes purchasing something handcrafted by a small business, knowing the craftsmanship that goes into each creation, can add sentimental value & one of kind appreciativeness.

Home Tour // Delfin-Postigo House

So, we came across the crazy Delfin-Postigo House in Madrid via Yellowtrace & had to share. David Delfin, a fashion designer & Gorka Posigo, once architect & now photographer recently showed off their home & there’s no doubt that their taste for unique artwork is the stand out feature of the home. Between the mix of the surrounding modern white structure & the rustic decor lies some of the strangest most intriguing artwork!! The creepy disfigured baby heads, the [I can't breathe / I'm dying] face canvas right below or the rope/noose hanging over the bed? So Strange!! However, within all the creepiness you can’t help but think why it was picked & what it means to them!? And, we can’t be completely weirded out by the baby heads.. I recently added some to my shelving & they’re pretty badass!! Keep up with more of my Instagrams @annerue

I’m so freaking excited to finally share that I will be one of the 10 finalists on this seasons HGTV Star! I have always been a lover of HGTV, especially my fav show Design Star so to actually be a part of it is absolutely fabulous! The first show premieres June 9th & we can’t wait!

Most of you know I recently moved into my new home & did a complete overhaul! We are still not completely done but I have been trying to show you bits and pieces before seeing the final product! Any of you that know me, know I love to change up my house all the time (the curse of being a designer) so I try to keep my spaces neutral, using accents for pops of color! Since I was going for a more modern feel with this home, I opted for a white & gray marble counter along with the solid white cabinets. Marble is all over the place lately & I have picked out a few of my recent marble loves below!! However, my kitchen is still my fav Lovin’ it!
