A couple months back I received my monthly edition of Elle Decor & was completely inspired by the cover photo’s bold tile flooring. I have to admit I love doing bold things but because I change my mind so often (the downfall to constantly being around new furniture & fabrics) I like to keep as much of the bones of my house very neutral. Wood floors, neutral cabinetry & countertops, etc.. I tend to get the most creative with wallpaper that can easily be taken down, painted or replaced.. But there is something about these bold floors I found that is totally inspiring. Which is why my team & I have decided to have some fun & paint our office floors a pattern! We haven’t decided exactly what yet but were excited & can’t wait to show off the final result! They are an unbearable sight at the  moment.. mostly because I literally couldn’t stand the wood floor color once installed. With the yellow tones surrounding, it came off having this peach tint & I died. SO that night after moving in we opened a couple bottles of wine & we painted the entire surface white.. ANYTHING to get rid of that awful color!! That was almost a year ago now, & they are horribly scuffed & DURTYY. So were gonna have some fun. Stay tuned.. 🙂

P.S. We still have not heard back from our giveaway winner & want to send out the pillow to that very lucky girl, Jamie Schertler! Please contact us with your info via: katie@annerue.com! If we do not hear from you by friday we will be forced to choose another winner. Thanks!
