FULL-SERVICE RESIDENTIAL DESIGN
One Designer. Every Detail. Start to Finish.
Anne Rue Interiors works with busy professionals who are building, renovating and furnishing their home and want an experienced designer to lead the process from the first decision to the final detail.
My role is to define the scope of work, create the full design plan and lead the project from start to finish — all while keeping your priorities firmly in view.
A SERVICE SHAPED AROUND YOUR HOME
EVERY PROJECT IS UNIQUE.
No project or client is the same; that is why every project begins with a consultation to understand your needs, priorities, and timeline. From there, I develop a scope of work tailored to the specific needs of your project.

New construction & major renovations
What It Actually Means to Have a Designer Lead Your Project
Most people picture an interior designer choosing paint colors and picking out furniture. For a new build or a major renovation, my role starts long before any of that — and it's the reason the whole thing runs smoothly.
It begins with understanding how you live. Before a single selection is made, I'm learning how your family moves through a home, what your days look like, and what's worked in the past and what hasn't. From there I define the scope of the work and build the full design plan — the framework every decision will hang on. This is where costly mistakes get prevented, long before they'd ever show up on a job site.
Because I work alongside your builder from the start, I'm involved while the home is still on paper — reviewing plans, refining layouts, and thinking through how each space will actually function once you're living in it. Does the flow make sense at seven in the morning with everyone trying to get out the door? Is there room for the way you really entertain? These are the questions that shape a home you'll love for decades, and they're far easier to answer with a pencil than a sledgehammer.
As construction moves forward, so do the details — finishes, fixtures, cabinetry, tile, lighting, hardware, flooring. I make these decisions with you, not for you, carrying the mental load so you're weighing in on what matters and trusting me with the rest. And I'm on site throughout: coordinating with the builder and trades, catching small discrepancies before they become expensive problems, and keeping every piece aligned with the original vision. This is the part clients feel the most — a project that simply moves, without the constant fires most people expect.

Home Transformation
Furnishing the Home, Start to Finish
While the home is still taking shape, the furnishings are already being planned. The two move together — because the sofa, the rug, the light fixture, and the art all have to belong to the same story the architecture is telling. Thinking about them early is what keeps the finished home from feeling like two separate projects stitched together.
Once the construction decisions are locked in, we turn our full attention here. Room by room, I design how each space will live and feel — selecting the furniture, rugs, artwork, window treatments, lighting and the accessories that pull it all together. Every piece is chosen with the others in mind, so the whole home feels considered and connected rather than assembled one purchase at a time.
Then comes the part that quietly makes or breaks a project: procurement. Once selections are approved, I handle all of it — placing the orders, tracking each item, managing shipping, and receiving and inspecting everything as it arrives. Furnishing a whole home means hundreds of moving pieces on different timelines, and staying ahead of them is the difference between a smooth install and months of delay. You don't have to think about any of it. That's my job.
And then it all comes together. On install day, the furniture is placed, the art is hung, the rugs and lighting and layered details fall into place, and the house finally becomes a home. You walk into finished rooms — not a to-do list. That moment is the whole point.
From the first plan to the final cushion, you have one designer leading it all. That's what full-service really means.
Make it stand out.
LET’S WORK TOGETHER.
EVERY PROJECT STARTS WITH A PAID INITIAL CONSULTATION.
This is a focused working conversation about your home, how you want to live in it, and the challenges you're looking to solve. We'll talk through the scope of the work, get a clear sense of what your project will require, and determine whether Anne Rue Interiors is the right fit to lead the larger project.
Because this is a working consultation, not simply an introductory call. you'll receive professional insight and useful direction from the outset.
You’ll walk away with real direction from the very first conversation—and a solid foundation for the project ahead. The initial design consultation is $575 and gives us the time to thoughtfully explore your home, your priorities, and what the project will require. If we move forward together, I’ll guide you to the right next phase based on exactly what your home and your goals call for.
